Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume camp kitchen.

The role requires 2+ years in kitchen leadership, ServSafe Allergens certification, and willingness to live on-site for a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. Competitive seasonal pay with room & board.

Formación

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting, work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week, and thrive under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
