Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role in our rural summer camp kitchens. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, supervise staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is an on-site, live-in position with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. Join a team focused on scratch cooking, fresh ingredients, and top-quality meals for camp communities across the country.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• Certifications: ServSafe Allergens required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts and ensure meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory, budget, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations and camp leadership.
