Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. in Durham, NC, is seeking a production leader to drive safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery across multiple work centers. You will manage a group of cell/team leads and assembly staff, ensuring MoMs and MAIs are followed, and targets are met.

You will apply Lean principles, lead root-cause analyses, mentor supervisors, and partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain to optimize production. Requires 3+ years of supervision and strong ERP experience (IFS/SAP).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in production operations.
• Lean manufacturing experience to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• ERP experience (IFS or SAP) strongly preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and growth of team members, manage performance and training.
• Monitor labor hours, track performance, and analyze trends to drive productivity.
• Verify upcoming projects, release shop orders, and ensure BOM accuracy.
• Ensure assembly drawings and schematics are complete and released.
• Collaborate with Project Management to address schedule risks and capacity.
• Oversee ERP transactions in IFS and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Report KPIs and maintain departmental health through tier meetings.
• Work with HR to support training and talent initiatives.
