PowerSecure, Inc. in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance across facilities and production equipment, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with vendors to resolve issues.

This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, CMMS work-order discipline, LOTO compliance, and safe operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, CNC/automated equipment, and fluid power.
• Read electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings and schematics.
• Maintain CMMS work orders with notes and parts usage; follow LOTO/OSHA rules.
• Lead by example, mentor juniors, and promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Proficient with hand/tools, electrical test gear, HMIs, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Oversee complex repairs from diagnosis to completion with proper parts and docs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS.
• Coach junior technicians and ensure safe, high-quality work orders.
• Coordinate with supervisors and vendors for repairs and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, PPE, and EHS requirements.
• Inspect buildings, utilities, and production-support systems and address deficiencies.
• Assist with equipment relocation or modification and ongoing training.
