Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor in Mebane, NC to lead a production unit, transform parts and raw materials into ABB products, and ensure timely, cost-effective operations while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires organizing resources, meeting line targets, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.

An associate degree and 2–5 years of production leadership experience, plus US work authorization, are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• 2–5 years or more of prior production line, production operations, and production management/inventory management experience required.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes and transform parts and raw materials into ABB products.
• Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards.
• Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.
• Manage production scheduling and production plan to meet volume requirements defined in the demand plan and inventory service levels.
• Recommend technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
• Identify deficiencies in the production area and oversee implementation of actions to improve production performance.
• Resolve critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.
