Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations in Kinston, NC seeks a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily production, ensure safety and quality, and deliver on-time output. You will oversee hourly staff and partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required: BS in an engineering or related field and 2+ years in manufacturing; OSHA and ERP/MRP proficiency; strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Eng, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment (including internships).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metrics, and workflow optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, technical problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and quality compliance standards/systems.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members; conduct shift meetings.
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, OEE) and ensure schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain to optimize operations.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S initiatives to reduce waste and improve workflow.
