Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Services is seeking a Property Manager – Affordable Housing to oversee daily operations of affordable housing communities in Oak Park, IL. This role ensures HUD/LIHTC compliance, manages budgets, and leads on-site teams to deliver safe, supportive housing.

Responsibilities include staffing, leasing optimization, resident relations, and regulatory reporting. The position requires 3+ years in on-site management, including supervisory experience, with an IL Leasing Agent

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher degree preferred.
• 3+ years in on-site property management, 1+ year as Property Manager in affordable housing.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate site staff across Leasing, Maintenance, and support roles.
• Maximize occupancy via proactive leasing and tenant engagement.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, ADA, and Fair Housing; manage resident files and certifications.
