Responsibilities include picking up USPS mail, processing inbound mail, tracking packages, maintaining chain-of-custody, notifying recipients, completing scheduled routes, and handling inquiries about mail status.

Responsibilities

• Pick up USPS mail when required.
• Receive inbound mail and parcels from USPS and commercial carriers.
• Screen, sort, process, and route incoming mail.
• Electronically record and track accountable packages and other designated items.
• Maintain appropriate chain-of-custody controls.
• Provide electronic notification to recipients when designated packages are received and/or delivered.
• Perform scheduled internal mail and parcel delivery routes.
• Obtain proof of delivery when required.
• Research undeliverable, unidentified, mystery, or misdirected mail and packages.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding mail and package status.
