Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression and extinguishers on-site for commercial and residential kitchens. You will follow NFPA codes and work with top brands while delivering strong customer service.

We value safety, accuracy, and on-time reporting, with a driver’s license and willingness to learn as essential requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of fire suppression systems and extinguishers is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
• Conduct inspections per NFPA codes and UL standards.
• Diagnose issues and perform on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with clients to schedule service and provide updates.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Pursue ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.
