Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen suppression systems and extinguishers on-site for commercial and residential kitchens.

You will work with NFPA codes, manufacturer specs, and local safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring systems are fully operational and compliant.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
• Ability to read and follow NFPA codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Responsibilities

• Install and setup kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers per manufacturer specs and codes.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair restaurant fire suppression systems from various brands.
• Diagnose on-site issues and perform emergency troubleshooting.
• Prepare inspection reports with customer signatures and keep records updated.
• Communicate with clients to schedule service and provide maintenance recommendations.
