Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety seeks a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression and extinguishers on-site for commercial and residential kitchens.

You will work with various brands, follow NFPA codes, and document inspections while delivering strong customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install new kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers per manufacturer specs and safety codes.
• Inspect NFPA 10, NFPA 17-17A, UL 300 and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and service tasks to keep equipment operational.
