Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers. On-site work across commercial and residential kitchens ensures systems are compliant with NFPA codes and safety standards.

You will perform installations, inspections, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting, document reports, and interact with clients to schedule service and discuss improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of fire suppression systems is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to learn NFPA codes and manufacturer specs.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Perform on-site service in commercial and residential kitchens.
• Diagnose issues and perform on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare inspection reports and document work performed.
• Engage with customers to schedule service and explain recommendations.
