Marmic Fire and Safety Co. is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers for commercial and residential kitchens.

On-site work requires strong customer service and adherence to safety standards. The role emphasizes NFPA 10, NFPA 17-17A, UL 300, and related codes, with focus on delivering reliable fire protection and responsive service across locations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of fire suppression systems and extinguishers is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic repair tools.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Responsibilities

• Install new kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications, local safety regulations, and NFPA codes.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems and extinguishers from listed brands.
• Perform routine maintenance and service tasks to keep equipment operational and compliant with safety codes.
• Diagnose and perform on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
