Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join our team.

This role provides first/second level support for help desk calls and desk-side support in a higher-educational environment, with a salary range of $44,000-$52,000. The candidate should have an A+ certification, 2 years’ experience in hardware and software support, excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• A+ certification required.
• 2 years of hardware and software support experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Windows and Apple platforms.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handles Deskside support requests/issues escalated from the Help Desk.
• Configure, deploy, and provide support for Windows and Apple hardware/software.
• Configure, deploy, and provide support for peripheral hardware (printers, etc.).
• Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office 365, Browser programs, Antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systems
