Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists is seeking a Senior On-Site Senior Technician to join our Onsite Services Team. You will provide full-time, on-site end-user support for a Rhode Island education-based client, delivering premium deskside service and handling incidents through a ticketing system.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on end-user support, strong communication, and certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft; travel to client locations is expected with a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on end-user support experience
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are required
• Experience with Windows and macOS environments, Office suites, and browser/app support
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and networking issues

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium deskside support, handling incidents from intake to resolution.
• Provide in-person installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting for devices and peripherals.
• Support network connectivity, VoIP/telecom, and low-voltage cabling projects.
• Configure and deploy new workstations; coordinate repairs and asset inventory.
• Administer and troubleshoot client applications including Office and Google Workspace.
• Manage device lifecycles (Chromebook/iPad) via Google Admin Console.
• Maintain classroom technology like projectors and document cameras.
• Provide user training and ongoing technology support.
• Prepare daily status updates and monthly activity reports.
