Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists is seeking an On-Site Senior Technician to join our Onsite Services Team for a Boston-based client. The role is full-time and onsite, with a salary range of $50,000–$65,000.

You will provide premium deskside support, manage tickets, handle device deployments, and ensure network connectivity. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on IT support across Windows/macOS and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of in-person end-user hardware, OS, and app support.
• Able to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs and transport between sites.
• On-site schedule during client hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium deskside end-user support.
• Oversee and maintain the ticketing system for efficiency.
• Handle inbound tickets from start to resolution with timely support.
• Support end-user devices (computers, printers, peripherals).
• Provide on-site training as needed.
• Ensure reliable network access and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot OS and application issues and perform device deployments.
• Coordinate cable work and maintain device inventory and documentation.
• Provide status updates and monthly IT activity reports.
