Confidential Jobs is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join the on-site IT team in Las Vegas, NV. The role centers on end-user support across warehouse operations, with emphasis on Azure/Entra ID, AD, and firewall/network basics to minimize downtime.

The candidate will handle desktop, printer, and device provisioning, while coordinating with network engineers for site changes and rollouts. Strong on-site independence and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT service desk, help desk, or desktop support.
• Hands-on firewall management (FortiGate, Palo Alto, SonicWall or similar).
• Working knowledge of managed switches, VLANs, and wireless troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure administration – VMs, resource groups, subscriptions.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) – user mgmt, group policies, conditional access.
• Strong Active Directory knowledge – provisioning, groups, OU structure.
• Windows 10/11 desktop support and imaging/deployment.
• Able to work on-site independently in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication; translate tech to non-tech users.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, ticketing, walk-up.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provision and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers.
• Manage equipment inventory and lifecycle documentation.
• Support voice-picking devices and WMS client software.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff or vendors.
• Assist with firewall configuration and network switches.
• Monitor Wi-Fi and VLAN tasks; assist with network segmentation.
• Coordinate with engineers on changes and site expansions.
• Document procedures in the IT knowledge base.
