Job summary

Spec's Family Partners in Dallas, TX seeks an Information Technology Field Services Technician to provide on-site hardware, software and networking support across locations. The role includes installing and supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments, Active Directory/Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

You will handle POS systems, networking gear, servers and endpoints.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT desktop/field or technical support experience.
• Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 administration across workloads.
• Active Directory/Azure AD/Entra ID and Intune experience.
• Networking fundamentals incl. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.
• Experience with Fortinet/Meraki/Ubiquiti networking gear.
• Retail POS systems and peripherals experience.
• VMware, Linux familiarity; on-site repair and deployment skills.
• Strong customer service and ticketing experience; on-call capable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software and networking issues.
• Install, configure and support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Support Active Directory/Azure AD/Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, VPNs and firewalls.
• Support retail POS systems, payment terminals and peripherals.
• Deploy and replace desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other devices.
• Maintain asset inventory and ServiceDesk tickets.
• Travel daily to company locations; participate in occasional overnight trips.
• Educate users on technology best practices and security.
