Job summary

Atrium Staffing is seeking a hands-on Field Services/Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite IT support at a Las Vegas client site on a 7-month guaranteed contract. The role covers laptops, desktops, printers, networking gear, and A/V systems. This position requires on-site work five days a week.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of desktop support experience, strong Windows 11 troubleshooting skills, and a solid comfort level with hardware deployment and end‑user support.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of desktop support or related IT experience.
• Proficient in Windows 11 troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and deploying equipment.
• Experience with printers and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing systems.
• Must be available to work 100% onsite in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on desktop and field services support for laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Perform break/fix support, equipment deployments, installations, and replacements.
• Configure and support laptops, desktops, printers, handheld devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot basic network and Wi‑Fi connectivity issues.
• Provide support for conference room A/V and video conferencing equipment.
• Monitor and manage incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing systems.
• Install, move, and replace IT equipment as needed.
• Assist with hardware inventory, asset tracking, and equipment management.
• Document completed work and escalate technical issues when necessary.
• Follow established SOPs, runbooks, and technical procedures.
• Assist with root‑cause troubleshooting and recurring technical issues.
