Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring an IT Support Specialist in Schaumburg, IL to provide Tier 1 support for company IT systems and manage asset tracking. On-site role includes travel to branches and client sites, with regular reporting duties.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of IT experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with iOS, Windows 11, MacOS, and Google Workspace. After-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ customer service experience.
• 1 year minimum IT experience.
• Basic working knowledge of networking is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical information to a wide range of end-users and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 support for company IT systems.
• Track assets and organize asset management systems.
• Run and distribute reports to teams as scheduled.
• On-Site workstation setup; travel to branches & client sites.
• Employee onboarding: account and hardware setup.
• Employee offboarding: account deactivation and hardware returns.
• New hire training: assist on day one with logins and system navigation.
• Own IT tickets; Zendesk experience helpful.
• Travel out of state for branch/on-site visits for IT assessments.
• Provide problem-solving support and excellent customer service.
• Keep documentation of issues and processes updated.
