American Commercial Bank & Trust in Schaumburg / Chicagoland area seeks a Sr. Technology Specialist to support 175 employees across Illinois locations. You will troubleshoot PC/printer hardware, Windows Server and AD, and manage end-user IT needs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and the ability to travel between bank locations. Hours are typical business days with potential task-driven fluctuations.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high-school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Information Technology and/or related certifications a plus.
• Prior IT business experience at an IT Help Desk or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency with PC and printer hardware repair and troubleshooting; Windows 11, Office 365, Teams, Chrome, Edge; on premise Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and network communications.
• Experience with M365 Tenant configurations, Data backup and restoration, VoIP telephone systems, device encryption implementation, and patch and vulnerability management desired.
• Familiarity with Azure Server and Active Directory cloud migration, VMware, SharePoint, Layer 2/Layer3 data switch VLAN and QOS/COS configuration, and SASE architecture desired.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot issues related to PC and printer hardware and software; involve other IT team members and vendors as necessary.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and network communications; involve vendors as needed.
• Assist with generation, maintenance, and presentation of compliance and audit reporting for all endpoints.
• Assist with new application and cloud implementations.
• Evolving responsibilities defined at hire and subject to change.
