Job summary

WP Engine in Austin, TX is hiring an IT Support Specialist II to maintain and improve our internal IT operations. You will deliver hands-on support for local users, manage devices, and support core SaaS tools with a customer-first mindset.

You will work on-site five days a week, handling macOS environments, Jamf provisioning, and identity platforms while collaborating with global IT teams to uphold security and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Customer-first approach with elite technical support.
• Strong macOS and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• MDM administration for device enrollment and management.
• Experience with SaaS and identity platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian).
• On-site work in Austin, TX and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch, tier-2 in-office IT support for Austin employees.
• Deliver remote first-line support for core infrastructure systems.
• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot MacBooks with Jamf.
• Administer user access in Google Workspace and Okta; onboard/offboard.
• Support Slack, Zoom, Jira/Confluence and other productivity tools.
