Job summary

LEDVANCE is seeking an IT Local Technical Support Specialist (Generalist) to provide first-line hardware and software support for regional sites and distribution centers. This on-site role is based at the Midwest Distribution Center in Versailles, KY.

You will respond to user requests, install and configure equipment, diagnose problems, train users, and document issues. Collaboration with IT staff and vendors is required to maintain security and performance.

Qualifications

A degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
Experience in providing technical support and customer service.
Knowledge of common operating systems, applications, and protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems promptly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
On-site work in Versailles, KY; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Respond to user requests and issues via ticket or in person.
Install, configure, update, and maintain hardware and software components.
Diagnose and resolve issues with computer systems, printers, and devices.
Provide training and guidance to users on applications and systems.
Document issues, solutions, and feedback.
Collaborate with IT staff, outsource partners and vendors to ensure security and performance.
Perform routine maintenance of systems and data.
