Job summary

The AME Group is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Louisville, KY to provide on-site and remote technical support for clients across Louisville and Southern Indiana. You will troubleshoot desktops, servers, networking gear, and peripherals while maintaining strong client communication and documentation in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have IT support or field service experience, Windows and networking basics, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

Proven experience in IT support or field service.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to client sites.
Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, printers, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and patch management for client environments.
Document all work thoroughly in the ticketing system with attention to detail.
Communicate clearly with clients and keep them informed at every step.
Manage time and prioritize across multiple client sites in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with remote support and escalation teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Represent The AME Group with a customer-first mindset at every client interaction.
