Job summary

Meeting Street in Providence, RI is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site hardware, software, network and AV support across campuses. Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on experience with information technology support or systems administration.
• Working knowledge of Windows server, Active Directory or Microsoft Extra, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary on site point of contact for hardware, software, network, and audiovisual issues across the Providence campuses, escalating to MSP per workflow.
• Supports clinical, education, and administrative end users with clear, non-technical communication.
• Acts as on-site liaison to the MSP account team and service delivery lead, participates in ticket triage and maintenance windows.
• Documents on site network, hardware, and configuration details in the knowledge base and asset inventory.
• Assists MSP with on-site verification of firewall, wireless AP, and switch health and hardware refreshes.
• Manages multiple concurrent support cases and confirms resolution with end users.
• Documents procedures, recurring issues, and solutions for future reference by Meeting Street and MSP.
