Job summary

Brethren Village Retirement Community is seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to support our Technology department and assist Residents' and Team Members' IT needs. The successful candidate will hold an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field or have at least 1 year of IT experience, and will contribute to hardware/software support and end-user training.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, systems administration, IT security, or related field; vocational IT degree; IT certifications; OR at least 1 year IT work experience.
• Ability to read and complete online training independently.
• Willingness to work on-site and support Residents and Team Members.
• Strong service orientation and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT-related requests and troubleshoot routine software/hardware issues.
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, apps, and related hardware.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on Brethren Village computing systems.
• Complete IT-related projects and contribute to Technology department goals.
