Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking an IT Technician to maintain IT assets across care facilities and assist end-users in daily tasks. The role involves hardware setup, software installation, and troubleshooting, plus network and printer connectivity support.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related IT experience, strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Workday and PointClickCare. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of related IT experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems and various applications.
• Must obtain and maintain mandatory certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software.
• Set up hardware, install software, train users, and troubleshoot.
• Maintain and inventory computer and network equipment.
• Assist with network and printer connections and maintenance.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation with IT staff.
• Collaborate with IT services on budgets and purchases.
