Job summary

Jobot is seeking an IT Support Specialist for an on-site role in Pocahontas, AR. You will provide first-line IT support, maintain Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, O365, and Exchange, and help secure and optimize IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field and at least 5 years of IT support experience, ideally in manufacturing. On-call rotation is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, O365, and Exchange.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Knowledge of IT protocols and standards, with a focus on security and data protection.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially in manufacturing, is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule and after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to staff and respond to incidents and service requests promptly.
• Maintain and administer systems such as Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, O365, and Exchange.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including OS, networking devices, and printers.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and user provisioning; ensure data and system security.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practices to enhance efficiency and security.
• Provide training and assistance to staff on IT-related matters.
• Collaborate with IT staff and management to identify and implement cost-effective tech solutions.
• Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
