Jobot Consulting is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our manufacturing client on a contract-to-hire basis. You will deliver first-line IT support, manage Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, O365, and Exchange, and aid in deploying secure systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years IT support experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, O365, Exchange.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Security and data protection awareness.
• ERP experience a plus.
• Willingness to rotate on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to staff, responding to incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain and administer systems such as Windows 10/11, IOS, Android, O365, and Exchange.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, networking devices, and printers.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including updating and installing new software, setting up new users, and ensuring the security of data and systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and security.
• Provide training and assistance to staff on IT-related matters.
• Work closely with other IT staff and management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.
• Participate in IT projects, including the planning and implementation of new systems or upgrades.
