Job summary

John Boos & Co. is seeking a capable IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on frontline IT support across both office and manufacturing environments.

You will be the first contact for end-user technology issues and manufacturing systems troubleshooting while helping administer and improve the IT environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting workstations, networks, Microsoft 365 services, and manufacturing technology; supporting printers, Zebra devices, and the manufacturing floor; and

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred or equivalent practical IT experience.
Experience in technical support, desktop support, network support, or systems administration preferred.
Manufacturing IT experience is beneficial but not required.
Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude may be considered.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technology issues and requests.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and other endpoint equipment.
Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and replace computer hardware and software.
Assist with new technology implementations and changes, owning issues through resolution.
