Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. The contractor will handle desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, troubleshoot networks, and install hardware and software at client sites.

Role is independent contractor/part-time with on-demand assignments. Immediate start; strong communication and self-reliance are essential for timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site IT support for end users in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
