Job summary

GuideIT seeks an IT Service Desk Associate for an on-site role in Dallas, TX. The position provides first-level support for desktop and mobile devices, software, and networks, handling issues from initial contact to escalation as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a service desk or call center, strong communication skills, and experience with Windows 10/11 and Office 365. Local candidates only; on-site work required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of technical troubleshooting experience in a call center or service desk environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Operating Systems experience including Windows 10 and 11.
• Office 365 experience including O365 administration.
• Experience with Dell, HP or Lenovo hardware (laptops/desktops/printers).
• Experience with Active Directory and MFA.
• ITIL training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users for technology-related issues.
• Use incident tracking system and document interactions.
• Escalate issues when necessary and follow up on resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of system user guides and training materials.
• Assist in coaching/mentoring end users on system functionality.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction surveys with quality service.
