Job summary

AlixPartners in Dallas, TX is seeking a part-time Service Desk Intern to support ~3000 employees in a 1st line role. The position is 20–24 hours per week, on-site, with no relocation or visa sponsorship available.

You will handle phone, email, and in-person support, reporting to the Senior Desk Lead. The role requires enrollment in an IT program or recent certification, familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and Mac OS, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in IT program or recent cert within 12 months.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environment and Windows/Mac OS basics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Document troubleshooting steps in ServiceNow.
• Pre-provision and build laptops; deliver white-glove service.
• Manage devices using InTune, Jamf, and Lenovo Vantage.
• Assist with asset audits and inventory using approved tools.
• Escalate L1 issues to L2/L3 when needed.
