Job summary

GuideIT is seeking a Full-time IT Service Desk Associate in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and document interactions while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, Windows/MS Office experience, and the ability to work a shifting schedule including evenings and weekends. Hybrid work is available in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of technical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Windows XP/7 in MS environment.
• Office suites including Office 2003–2013 and Office 365.
• Microsoft Outlook (multiple versions).
• Dell/HP/Lenovo hardware (laptops/desktops/printers).
• Active Directory, MFA, etc.
• ITIL training/experience.
• Call center experience.
• Troubleshooting software/hardware on laptops/desktops/printers/mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level technical support to end users for technology-related issues.
• Escalate issues when necessary and document interactions.
• Use standard tools and processes to resolve problems.
• Assist in data anomaly investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support end-user training and document changes as needed.
• Maintain system knowledge and participate in ongoing learning.
