Job summary

Cogent Infotech is seeking an IT Site Service Delivery Specialist to support the CEC Region from Marcy, NY. You will oversee IT services, incident prevention, and service fulfillment, ensuring IT investments align with regional objectives and deliver reliable user support.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree with 5 years of related IT experience or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years, ITIL V4 familiarity, and hands-on work with ServiceNow or Remedy, Active Directory, and remote desktop

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required with minimum 5 years of related IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3 years in IT; ITIL V4 preferred.
Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with end-user compute devices and peripherals; Active Directory and Remote Desktop Tools.

Responsibilities

End User Support. Maintenance of IT Resources: Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of IT resources for the CEC Region.
Manage activities to anticipate, prevent, and respond to technology interruptions for uninterrupted IT services.
Provide support for setup, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to services, technology, and products.
Determine solutions, provide feedback on changes, create tests/tools/diagnostic procedures, and assist in complex technical solutions.
Service fulfillment to meet customer requests from the CEC Region efficiently and effectively.
Assist in monitoring compliance with IT standards and processes; assist with testing and implementation of new systems.
