George J. Igel & Co., Inc. is seeking a Held Desk Technician to provide day-to-day technology support for employees, with a focus on managing company-issued devices across their lifecycle.

This includes ordering devices, inventory, provisioning phones, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs and replacements. The role requires travel to construction job sites to assist field staff. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework, certifications, or related experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior help desk, mobile device, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old; able to work in person and travel to job sites.

Responsabilités

• Order, receive, label, track, issue, and recover company assets and accessories.
• Maintain accurate phone inventory, assignments, service records, and stock levels.
• Set up, configure, activate, and provision mobile devices for employees per company standards.
• Troubleshoot mobile devices, cellular service, apps, and connectivity; coordinate repairs and replacements.
• Create and update employee user accounts, passwords, and access permissions following security procedures.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and routine technology requests.
• Provide timely help desk support for hardware, software, and account issues; document resolutions.
• Travel to job sites and locations to set up devices and support field staff in person.
• Escalate complex issues to other IT staff or vendors and ensure resolution.
• Learn and adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
