Job summary

Oneida Technology Services (OTS) in Lee's Summit, MO is hiring a full-time Help Desk Technician for an on-site role. You will handle ticketing, triage, and user support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including desk-side tasks and after-hours incident support.

The position requires a high school diploma with 0–2 years of IT support, Windows knowledge, and the ability to follow documented procedures. U.S.

Qualifications

High school diploma with 0–2 years of related IT support experience or equivalent.
Fundamental IT field support knowledge and Windows operating systems.
Ability to follow documented procedures and work under supervision.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests through the ticketing system.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Perform desk-side support tasks including reimaging and OS reinstalls.
Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and remote access issues.
Prepare IT equipment for deployment, relocation, or disposal.
Assist with workstation setups, cabling, and system installations.
Validate equipment and system performance after maintenance or installation.
Support diagnostics of network equipment under direction of networking teams.
Update, track, and maintain asset inventory records.
Maintain clear documentation of service actions and ticket updates.
Support IT needs for staff and student training environments.
Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
Follow IT service procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
