Job summary

Oneida Technology Services (OTS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Help Desk Technician in Lincoln, NE. This is a fully on-site position and involves monitoring, triage, and responding to user support requests through a ticketing system. The role requires 0–2 years IT support experience, Windows OS knowledge, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Certifications such as HDI/SDI, CompTIA A+, and ITIL are preferred. Eligible candidates should be U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or équivalent with 0–2 years IT support experience.
• Fundamental IT field support knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Strong customer service, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work under supervision.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform desk-side support tasks, including device reimaging and OS reinstalls.
• Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and remote access issues.
• Update, track, and maintain asset inventory records.
