Job summary

Oneida ESC Group is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Help Desk Technician in Lincoln, NE. This is an on-site role with responsibilities to troubleshoot, comply with IT procedures, and support staff and students in IT environments. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years IT support experience, Windows OS knowledge, and strong communication skills.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance are required, with certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–2 years of IT support experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of IT operations and maintenance (O&M) processes.
• Strong customer service and written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures under supervision.
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests via ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Provide desk-side support including device reimaging and OS reinstalls.
• Assist with asset inventory, receiving, tagging, and documentation.
• Maintain clear documentation of service actions and ticket updates.
• Support staff and student training IT needs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Follow IT service procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
