Job summary

Oneida Technology Services (OTS) is seeking a highly motivated, on-site Help Desk Technician in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide frontline IT support, troubleshoot hardware/software, and manage equipment deployment and inventory. This role requires strong customer service and adherence to IT procedures.

The position is fully on-site with after-hours support for critical incidents and opportunities to grow within the Oneida ESC Group family of companies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related IT support experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Strong customer service and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform desk-side support tasks including device reimaging, OS reinstalls, and equipment configuration.
• Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and remote access or telework issues.
• Prepare IT equipment for deployment, relocation, or disposal following policies.
• Assist with workstation setups, cabling, and system installations.
• Update, track, and maintain asset inventory records.
• Maintain clear documentation of service actions and ticket updates.
