Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York is seeking an Engineer to manage desktop and mobile assets on-site, overseeing lifecycle from procurement to recycling. You will handle inventory, fulfillment, device configurations, and user support, working closely with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, asset mgmt experience, and hands-on skills with ServiceNow, Windows Autopilot, and iOS troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for IT hardware & software asset management services.
• Experience in managing PC and mobile assets in ServiceNow and asset lifecycle stages.
• Experience coordinating with vendors for physical asset audits and stock rooms.
• End-to-end asset life management including forecasting, receiving, shipping, maintenance and recycling.
• Track lifecycle data to maintain warranty, refresh, and end-of-life information.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Windows Autopilot, MS Office, Windows OS and iOS troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• 100% Work from Office at client location.
• Asset inventory management for New Device Assets, imports, and physical stocking.
• PC fulfillment (new, break-fix, lifecycle) incl. scheduling and recertification (Autopilot/Reimage/Import).
• Fulfillment for Windows/Mac/iPhone/iPad devices (break-fix, swap, unassign) and device recertification (wipe/reload).
• Accessory requests fulfillment and unknown device research/investigation.
• Software provisioning/installation requests and new printer configuration requests.
• Walk-up, deskside, and remote technical support (incident & request management).
• New hire onboarding training and orientation, AV meeting room support.
