Job summary

Hutchinson, an on-site HR Generalist role at our Ohio production facility, reports to the HR Manager and oversees full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations for a 3-shift operation.

You will enforce policies, conduct training and performance evaluations, manage HR databases, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support HR projects across the site. Travel to other Hutchinson locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings and manage recruitment processes.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring activities.
• Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Administer payroll and manage employee benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with compensation regulations and policies.
• Organize training sessions and development programs.
• Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes using HR Connect.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Travel may be required to other Hutchinson locations.
