Job summary

Next Level Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a busy operational facility in Hutchinson, KS. This contract role covers onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR programs in collaboration with site leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, with 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings, and strong communication and organizational skills to handle confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience supporting hourly and/or operational employees.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Strong HR knowledge: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, records, benefits, employee relations.
• Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance through the employee lifecycle.
• Support engagement, retention, talent development, staffing, and performance management initiatives.
• Collaborate with site leadership to align HR priorities with business objectives.
• Assist with recruitment and development of talent pipelines for production and supervisory roles.
• Advise leaders during organizational changes and coach on communication and leadership.
