6 Degrees Search in Oakmont, PA is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a small Pittsburgh-region plant. You will be the go-to HR resource, partnering with plant management and spending time with hourly and salaried staff on the floor.

The long-term plan is to grow this role into HR oversight across multiple sites, with a comprehensive benefits package and bonus potential tied to site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years in HR in manufacturing/warehousing
• Union environment experience preferred; strong candidates without it who can pick it up will be considered
• Able to handle sensitive employee matters independently and judge when escalation is warranted
• Local candidate only; relocation is not offered

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues, performance conversations, and conflict
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership
