Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a small plant in the Pittsburgh region, Oakmont, PA. You will be the go-to HR resource for roughly 80 employees, partnering with plant management and working with hourly and salaried staff on people issues and HR processes.

The role collaborates with corporate HR on labor relations and focus areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance conversations, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Union environment experience preferred; candidates without it will be considered.
• Able to handle sensitive employee matters independently and escalate when warranted.
• Builds trust with staff from floor to front office.
• HRIS experience a plus, especially helping with an implementation.
• Must be local; relocation is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues and performance conversations.
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations.
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention.
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy.
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to.
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements.
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership.
