MDS Staffing is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a Pittsburgh-area plant in Oakmont, PA. The role partners with plant management and provides real-time HR support for roughly 80 employees, both hourly and salaried, with long-term growth into HR oversight across multiple sites.

The position offers a compensation range of $90,000 to $110,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Local candidates only; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Union environment experience preferred; strong candidates without it who show they can pick it up will be considered.
• Must be local; relocation is not offered.
• Able to handle sensitive employee matters independently and judge when escalation is warranted.

Responsabilités

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues, performance conversations, and conflict.
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations.
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention.
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy.
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to.
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements.
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership.
