Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an eager Project Engineer to join our on-site team in the mid-Atlantic region. You will collaborate with the Project Team to plan and support heavy civil construction projects, using CMiC for project control and documentation.

You will interpret drawings, coordinate material deliveries, and help ensure safe, on-time project execution. We offer training, competitive pay of $85,000–$105,000, and a pathway to growth within a leading self-performing contractor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management (heavy civil preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• FE certification preferred.
• Experience with contract administration, cost tracking, change orders, scheduling, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and schedules with the Project Manager and Superintendent to meet project goals.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information for the Project Team, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify, order and coordinate delivery of materials (pipe, stone, reinforcing steel, beams, etc.) and finalize POs and subcontracts timely and cost-effectively.
• Manage the RFI and submittal process with project control logs (CMiC).
• Process owner billings and project accounting tasks.
• Assist Project Manager with development of Change Orders and related documentation.
• Monitor safety and maintain safety files, reviewing schedule for special safety needs.
