Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our on-site team supporting heavy civil projects. You will collaborate with the Project Team to plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks, ensuring timely progress and compliance with project standards.

The role requires interpreting drawings and specs, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and supporting safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a construction management role (heavy civil preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Continuing education in construction desirable.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of contract administration systems, job cost management, change order management, labor & equipment reporting, planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support completion of assigned construction engineering projects with the Project Team.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical information for project team, subs, vendors, and consultants.
• Identify, order, and coordinate delivery of permanent materials with the Project Team and Purchasing.
• Manage RFI and submittal process and project control logs in CMiC.
