Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an eager, hardworking Project Engineer to support heavy civil construction projects. This on-site role works from the regional office and collaborates with the Project Team to plan, schedule, and execute work while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will interpret drawings, coordinate material delivery, manage RFIs/submittals, assist with change orders, and monitor progress to meet deadlines. We offer training, generous benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction management experience; heavy civil preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour training required.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of contract administration, job cost tracking, change orders, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule projects with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Interpret drawings, specs and technical info for the team.
• Coordinate delivery of permanent materials and finalize POs/subcontracts.
• Manage RFI and submittal process and maintain project control logs.
• Process owner billings and project accounting tasks.
• Assist with Change Orders and related documentation.
• Monitor safety compliance and maintain safety files.
