Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction management/engineering, a Civil/Construction degree, OSHA 30-hour, and FE as a plus. The position emphasizes safety and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 2+ years in construction management/engineering; heavy civil preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• FE certification preferred.
• Experience with contract administration, job costing, change orders and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Team to plan and support construction engineering projects and meet deadlines.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information for the Project Team, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Identify, order and coordinate delivery of permanent materials with the team.
• Manage the RFI and submittal process with project control logs in CMiC.
• Process owner billings and project accounting tasks.
• Assist PM with development of Change Orders and related documentation.
• Monitor safety compliance with the Safety Manager and maintain safety files.
